Koraput district in Odisha, India, is divided into subdivisions and blocks:
- Subdivisions: Koraput and Jeypore
- Blocks: Bandhugaon, Boipariguda, Borigumma, Dasamantapur, Laxmipur, Lamtaput, Nandapur, Narayanapatna, Pottangi, Semiliguda, and Kotpad
Koraput district was previously divided into eight talukas, which were later replaced by blocks and tahsils. In 1992, the district was divided into four new districts, with Koraput and Jeypore subdivisions forming the new Koraput district.
Koraput is known for its Jagannath Temple, also known as Sabara Srikhetra, which is unique because it doesn’t bar any section of society from entering. It’s also known for its tribal culture, natural beauty, and mild climate, and is a popular tourist destination.
