Balasore: A flying squad of the Commissionerate of CT & GST has detained a van of a logistics service provider during vehicle checking at Laxmannath Toll Plaza on the West Bengal -Odisha border.

Reportedly, during vehicle checking it was found that a van belonging to a logistics provider firm coming from West Bengal was carrying around 15 kg of gold. The vehicle with the consignment has been shifted to Jaleswar police station.

CT GST Assistant Commissioner Rakesh Muduli and other officials are examining the documents accompanying the consignment.

Further, investigation into the matter is underway.
